Save My settings
There is no long term list of files retained, except during the current session, prior to disconnection. Most of these temporary files are erased on exit, leaving only the internet files from the last visited URL or so. My settings are 'Never' and there is plenty of disk space. Cookies appear to be fully retained.

I could post a binary or two of my settings if that would help. Sympatico AFAIK does not provide NAT'ed connections ( your IP address setup confirms that) so NAT is not the problem. The router information is probably normal ( you may not have a router or gateway but Sympatico /Bell does).

New computer - which files to save?
Had to replace my hard drive. Only had a backup of my settings from 2006 so I tried to install it. Came up with an error saying the FSTW was old and need to use WinXP-Pro+SP2 disk to do a back up. Can't do this since my old drive is unreadable. What can I do to get my original settings installed on my new drive?
